Story

Shrina Inc. is using the life energy from the planet, mako, to make materia. Materia are little orbs that let you use magic and spells. Once all the mako has been sucked out of the planet the Earth will be dead. Avalanche is a resistance group that is trying to stop Shrina. Cloud Strife who is an ex-solider and now is a mercenary took the job to help Barret, the leader of the resistance group, and Avalanche. He meets up with one of his childhood friends, Tifa. Tifa is one of the main members of Avalanche and she runs a bar in the Sector 7 slums. In Midgar he also finds a flower girl named Aeris who soon joins the resistance against Shrina. Cloud soon finds a new evil. Sephiroth.
