Doduo
50 HP
Basic Pokemon
Attack 1: Fury Attack 10x
Attack 1 Energy Cost: 1 Colorless
Attack 1 Special: Flip 2 coins. This attack does 10 damage times the number of heads.
Weakness: Electric
Resistance: Fighting
Retreat Cost: 0
Recommendation: This starter is great! For 1 Energy, you can get a max of 20 damage. Its HP is high enough to last long, and the 0 Retreat Cost keeps him for later.

Doduo
40 HP
Basic Pokemon
Attack 1: Super Speed
Attack 1 Energy Cost: 1 Colorless
Attack 1 Special: Flip a coin. If heads, during your opponent's next turn, prevent all effects of attacks, including damage, done to Doduo.
Attack 2: Rear Kick 20
Attack 2 Energy Cost: 2 Colorless
Weakness: Electric
Resistance: Fighting
Retreat Cost: 1
E-Reader: Part 1 of 2 for a Doduo mini-game.
Recommendation: This is a stall card, pure and simple. Isn't the effect of Super Speed like an Agility? Then why don't they call it that? *sigh* Well, there's nothing we can do about it. Rear Kick does a simple 20 damage, but using Super Speed can stall for a long time while powering up the Bench.

Blaine's Doduo
50 HP
Basic Pokemon
Attack 1: Wild Kick 20
Attack 1 Energy Cost: 1 Colorless
Attack 1 Special: Flip a coin. If tails, this attack does nothing.
Attack 2: Retaliate 10x
Attack 2 Energy Cost: 2 Colorless
Attack 2 Special: Does 10 damage times the number of damage counters on Blaine's Doduo.
Weakness: Electric
Resistance: Fighting
Retreat Cost: 0
Recommendation: This is a good starter for two reasons. One 1 Energy attack that can do 20 damage is nice, aside from the coin flip. Retaliate does damage after damage has been done to it, up to a max of 40. Evolve it when it gets to that point.
Dodrio Jungle

Dodrio
70 HP
Stage 1 Pokemon
Pokemon Power: Retreat Aid: As long as Dodrio is Benched, pay 1 less energy to retreat your Active Pokemon.
Attack 1: Rage 10+
Attack 1 Energy Cost: 3 Colorless
Attack 1 Specital: Does 10 damage plus 10 more damage for each damage counter on Dodrio.
Weakness: Electric
Resistance: Fighting
Retreat Cost: 0
Recommendation: Keep this one active for a while so it can get damaged while powering up, so Rage can do more damage. Combine it with the power of Focus Band, and it can do 70 damage in one shot.
Dodrio Aqua

Dodrio
70 HP
Stage 1 Pokemon
Attack 1: Tri Attack 10x
Attack 1 Energy Cost: 1 Colorless
Attack 1 Special: Flip 3 coins. This attack does 10 damage times the number of heads.
Attack 2: Peck Attack
Attack 2 Energy Cost: 2 Colorless
Attack 2 Special: Flip 2 coins. If 1 of them is heads, this attack does 20 damage. If both are heads, this attack does 50 damage. If both are tails, the Defending Pokemon is now Confused.
Weakness: Electric
Resistance: Fighting
Retreat Cost: 1
E-Reader: Part 2 of 2 for a Doduo mini-game.
Recommendation: What Tri Attack needs is an E-Reader bar that does a random effect of Freeze, Paralysis, or Burn. But we don't have that, so moving along. Tri Attack can do a max of 30 damage, but that is unlikely. Peck Attack has 3 options in one. It has a 50% chance of doing 20 damage, 25% chance of doing 50 damage, and 25% chance of Confusing, so you really can't loose. And it is better than using an uncertain Tri Attack.

Blaine's Dodrio
70 HP
Stage 1 Pokemon
Attack 1: Mega Peck 50
Attack 1 Energy Cost: 2 Colorless
Attack 1 Special: Flip a coin. If tails, this attack does nothing.
Weakness: Electric
Resistance: Fighting
Retreat Cost: 1
Recommendation: This Pokemon will last longer than Doduo, but the attack is just as risky. If only Sabrina's ESP would work on non-Sabrina Pokemon.
