Koffing
50 HP
Basic Pokemon
Attack 1: Foul Gas 10
Attack 1 Energy Cost: 2 Grass
Attack 1 Special: Flip a coin. If heads, the Defending Pokemon is now Poisoned; if tails, it is now Confused.
Weakness: Psychic
Retreat Cost: 1
Recommendation: This is one of the only cards that does a stat change no matter what you flip. It isn't the best Pokemon to start with, but if you do choose it, attack the second turn and retreat the third, because you may need a stat change later on.

Koffing
40 HP
Basic Pokemon
Attack 1: Tackle 10
Attack 1 Energy Cost: 1 Colorless
Attack 2: Poison Gas 20
Attack 2 Energy Cost: 1 Grass, 1 Colorless
Attack 2 Special: Flip a coin. If heads, the Defending Pokemon is now Poisoned.
Weakness: Psychic
Retreat Cost: 1
Recommendation: This is a good starter to have. A first turn Tackle followed up by a second turn Poison Gas, which even gives the chance of Poisoning, makes it great.

Koffing
50 HP
Basic Pokemon
Attack 1: Ram 10
Attack 1 Energy Cost: 1 Colorless
Attack 2: Confusion Gas
Attack 2 Energy Cost: 1 Grass
Attack 2 Special: Flip a coin. If heads, the Defending Pokemon is now Confused.
Weakness: Psychic
Retreat Cost: 1
E-Reader: Clefairy's Melody Box: Pattern Change: Green/Yellow Boxes.
Recommendation: This is a strategic starter. First, pull out a Grass Energy and attack with Confusion Gas until the Defender is Confused. Then, when he damages himself, inflict more with Ram. Do this for every Pokemon you come across, or evolve it. Just make sure he has a spare Energy on him.
Koffing EX

Koffing
50 HP
Basic Pokemon
Attack 1: Tackle 10
Attack 1 Energy Cost: 1 Colorless
Attack 2: Double-edge 30
Attack 2 Energy Cost: 1 Grass, 1 Colorless
Attack 2 Special: Koffing does 10 damage to itself.
Weakness: Psychic
Retreat Cost: 1
Recommendation: This is a strong basic Pokemon. Tackle is a standard attack, but Double-edge will do 30 damage and only do 10 damage to yourself. Even so, it's a good idea to evolve it before you try for a suicide KO.

Koga's Koffing (Level 10)
40 HP
Basic Pokemon
Attack 1: Smelly Gas 10
Attack 1 Energy Cost: 1 Grass
Attack 1 Special: Flip a coin. If heads, this attack does 10 damage to each Benched Pokemon (including your own). (Don't apply Weakness and Resistance for Benched Pokemon.)
Weakness: Psychic
Retreat Cost: 1
Recommendation: You don't normally find a Basic Bench Destroyer, but I guess this is one of the few that are. The problem with Smelly Gas is that it can do damage to your Bench too. Use Transparent Walls to stop that from getting through.

Koga's Koffing (Level 15)
50 HP
Basic Pokemon
Attack 1: Smokescreen 10
Attack 1 Energy Cost: 1 Grass
Attack 1 Special: If the Defending Pokemon tries to attack during your opponent's next turn, your opponent flips a coin. If tails, that attack does nothing.
Attack 2: Obscuring Gas 30
Attack 2 Energy Cost: 1 Grass, 1 Colorless
Attack 2 Special: Flip a coin. If heads, shuffle Koga's Koffing and all cards attached to it into your deck (after doing damage).
Weakness: Psychic
Retreat Cost: 1
Recommendation: Smokescreen is a starter attack that keeps the opponent from doing damage while you power the Bench. Keep using Smokescreen until the Defending Pokemon is down to 30 HP, then use Obscuring Gas, or just in case you have to return it to your deck before it gets KO'd.
Weezing Fossil
Home>Pokeprofile>Fossil>Grass
Weezing
60 HP
Stage 1 Pokemon
Attack 1: Smog 20
Attack 1 Energy Cost: 2 Grass
Attack 1 Special: Flip a coin. If heads, the Defending Pokemon is now Poisoned.
Attack 2: Selfdestruct 60
Attack 2 Energy Cost: 2 Grass, 1 Colorless
Attack 2 Special: Does 10 damage to each Pokemon on each player's Bench. (Don't apply Weakness and Resistance for Benched Pokemon.) Weezing does 60 damage to itself.
Weakness: Psychic
Retreat Cost: 1
Recommendation: Here is the long awaited evolution to Koffing. Smog does some nice damage with a touch of Poison. Only use Selfdestruct when you have one attack left in you. It is also good if you use it after a Bench Destroyer is used like Amphoros, then you can give multiple KO's at once.
Weezing NE
Home>Pokeprofile>Neo Expedition>Grass
Weezing
80 HP
Stage 1 Pokemon
Attack 1: Foul Gas
Attack 1 Energy Cost: 1 Grass, 1 Colorless
Attack 1 Special: Flip a coin. If heads, the Defending Pokemon is now Poisoned. If tails, the Defending Pokemon is now Confused.
Attack 2: Misfire 60
Attack 2 Energy Cost: 2 Grass, 1 Colorless
Attack 2 Special: Flip a coin. If tails, put 6 damage counters on Weezing.
Weakness: Psychic
Retreat Cost: 2
Recommendation: This card can be tricky and cool at the same time. Foul Gas gives a status problem, no mater what the flip, but hope for Confusion. This way, if Misfire, well, misfires, you have the opportunity to reclaim some HP with a Healing Item before your opponent has a chance to KO you.
Weezing EX
Home>Pokeprofile>EX Ruby and Sapphire>Grass
Weezing
80 HP
Stage 1 Pokemon
Attack 1: Confusion Gas 10
Attack 1 Energy Cost: 1 Grass
Attack 1 Special: The Defending Pokemon is now Confused.
Attack 2: Poison Smog
Attack 2 Energy Cost: 1 Grass, 1 Colorless
Attack 2 Special: Each Defending Pokemon is now Poisoned. Does 10 damage to each or your opponent's Benched Pokemon. (Don't apply Weakness and Resistance for Benched Pokemon.)
Weakness: Psychic
Retreat Cost: 2
Recommendation: This Weezing is an effect Pokemon. Confusion is first out of the gate, then Poison Smog poisons the Defending Pokemon while doing Bench Destroying damage.
Dark Weezing TR
Home>Pokeprofile>Team Rocket>Grass
Dark Weezing
60 HP
Stage 1 Pokemon
Attack 1: Mass Explosion 20x
Attack 1 Energy Cost: 1 Grass, 1 Colorless
Attack 1 Special: Does 20 damage times the total number of Koffings, Weezings, and Dark Weezings in play (Apply Weakness and Resistance.). Then, this attack does 20 damage to each Koffing, Weezing, and Dark Weezing (even your own). Don't apply Weakness and Resistance.
Attack 2: Stun Gas 20
Attack 2 Energy Cost: 3 Grass
Attack 2 Special: Flip a coin. If heads, the Defending Pokemon is now Poisoned; if tails, the Defending Pokemon is now Paralyzed.
Weakness: Psychic
Retreat Cost: 1
Recommendation: Evolve this one from the Team Rocket Koffing and add an Energy to use Stun Gas. Stun Gas does 20 damage and puts an effect on the Defending Pokemon, hopefully it is Paralysis, so your opponent can't attack. Use Mass Explosion when all of your Koffings are on the Bench. This way, it will do 80 damage, but if your opponent has the same amount of Koffing evolutions on his or her side, it will do 160 damage and Bench Destroy both sides. Make sure to avoid that damage with Transparent Walls.
