Onix BS

Links for this card are the same as above.

Onix
90 HP
Basic Pokemon
Attack 1: Rock Throw 10
Attack 1 Energy Cost: 1 Fighting
Attack 2: Harden
Attack 2 Energy Cost: 2 Fighting
Attack 2 Special: During your opponent's next turn, whenever 30 or less damage is done to Onix (after applying Weakness and Resistance), prevent that damage. (Any other effects of attacks still happen.)
Weakness: Grass
Retreat Cost: 3
Recommendation: Rock Throw is slow but steady, the 90 HP on Onix makes it a good starter. If he gets in a pinch, use Harden to stall until he is either healed or is KO'd because of its retreat cost.

Onix NG

Onix
60 HP
Basic Pokemon
Attack 1: Screech
Attack 1 Energy Cost: 1 Colorless
Attack 1 Special: Until the end of your next turn, if an attack damages the Defending Pokemon (after applying Weakness and Resistance), that attack does 20 more damage to the Defending Pokemon.
Attack 2: Rage 10+
Attack 2 Energy Cost: 2 Fighting
Attack 2 Special: Does 10 damage plus 10 more damage for each damage counter on Onix.
Weakness: Grass
Retreat Cost: 2
Recommendation: This is a nice starter. Use Screech the first turn, and let the Defending Pokemon damage you. Use Rage the second turn to do 20 more damage, since Screech is still in effect. Rage, without Screech, can do a max of 60 damage, which gives it a chance to KO a few Pokemon. Alternate between the 2 attacks to get maximum effectiveness. By the time it is about to be Knocked Out, you should be ready to evolve it.

Onix Aqua

Onix
60 HP
Basic Pokemon
Attack 1: Crush 20x
Attack 1 Energy Cost: 1 Fighting, 1 Colorless
Attack 1 Special: Flip a number of coins equal to the amount of Energy attached to Onix. This attack does 20 damage times the number of heads.
Weakness: Water
Retreat Cost: 2
E-Reader: Part 4 of 5 for a Tyranitar mini-game.
Recommendation: Put as much Energy as you can on this Basic Battler when it is on the Bench. Crush can do limitless amounts of damage, and you don't have to discard the Energy cards afterwards. I'd recommend about 5 to do an average of 40 or 60 damage in one turn.

Brock's Onix Lv. 41 GH

Home>Pokeprofile>Gym Heroes>Fighting

Brock's Onix (Level 41)
100 HP
Basic Pokemon
Attack 1: Bellow
Attack 1 Energy Cost: 1 Colorless
Attack 1 Special: Flip a coin. If heads, the Defending Pokemon is now Paralyzed.
Attack 2: Rock Throw 30
Attack 2 Energy Cost: 2 Fighting, 1 Colorless
Weakness: Grass
Retreat Cost: 3
Recommendation: This is the second highest HP for a Basic Pokemon. Bellow holds your opponent in place while you power up your Rock Throw. Using it as a starter is a good idea.

Brock's Onix Lv. 30 GH

Links are on the above card.

Brock's Onix (Level 30)
70 HP
Basic Pokemon
Attack 1: Bind 20
Attack 1 Energy Cost: 2 Fighting
Attack 1 Special: Flip a coin. If heads, the Defending Pokemon is now Paralyzed.
Attack 2: Tunneling
Attack 2 Energy Cost: 3 Fighting
Attack 2 Special: If your opponent has any Benched Pokemon, choose up to 2 of them. This attack does 20 damage to each of them. (Don't apply Weakness and Resistance for Benched Pokemon.) Brock's Onix can't attack during your next turn.
Weakness: Grass
Retreat Cost: 2
Recommendation: Keep this valuable Bench Destroyer on the Bench until it is ready to use its Bench Destroying attack. Use a Healing Item if you want to keep him out there for a while.

Steelix Sky

Home>Pokeprofile>SkyRidge>Steel

Steelix
100 HP
Stage 1 Pokemon
Pokemon Power: Poke-Body: Rare Metal: All basic Energy cards attached to Steelix provides Metal Energy instead of their usual types.
Attack 1: Squeeze 20+
Attack 1 Energy Cost: 2 Steel, 1 Colorless
Attack 1 Special: Flip a coin. If heads, this attack does 20 damage plus 10 more damage and the Defending Pokemon is now Paralyzed.
Attack 2: Metal Tail 40
Attack 2 Energy Cost: 3 Metal, 1 Colorless
Attack 2 Special: Before doing damage, you may flip a coin. If heads, this attack does 80 damage. If tails, this attack does nothing.
Weakness: Fire
Resistance: Grass
Retreat Cost: 4
Recommendation: This is a very strong Steelix to have. Squeeze does a max of 30 damage and a Paralysis bonus to stall. Metal Tail does a constant 40 damage, or you can take your chances and try for 80. It would be next to impossible to use this card without the Rare Metal Poke-Body, because then you would need to attach 3 Metal Energy cards or Rainbow Energy cards. There are some other powers out there that can stop Poke-Bodies from working, and if so, Steelix is near useless.
