Pidgey BS

Home>Pokeprofile>Base Set>Colorless

Pidgey
40 HP
Basic Pokemon
Attack 1: Whirlwind 10
Attack 1 Energy Cost: 2 Colorless
Attack 1 Special: If your opponent has any Benched Pokemon, he or she chooses one of them and switches it with the defending Pokemon. (Do the damage before switching the Pokemon.)
Weakness: Electric
Resistance: Fighting
Retreat Cost: 1
Recommendation: This is a nice starter if you want to get hit the first turn. The only way to get out of that is to use a DCE, which you probably would want to save for later. Its attack isn't that great because your Opponent chooses the Benched Pokemon, not you. It is a good last resort Pokemon, but beware that if you use its attack, the opponent could be planning a severe counterattack.

Koga's Pidgey Lv. 15 GC

Home>Pokeprofile>Gym Challenge>Colorless

Koga's Pidgey (Level 15)
50 HP
Basic Pokemon
Attack 1: Peck 10
Attack 1 Energy Cost: 1 Colorless
Attack 2: Sand-attack 20
Attack 2 Energy Cost: 3 Colorless
Attack 2 Special: If the Defending Pokemon tries to attack during your opponent's next turn, your opponent flips a coin. If tails, that attack does nothing.
Weakness: Electric
Resistance: Fighting
Retreat Cost: 1
Recommendation: Peck will do damage the first and second turns, while the third will be used to stall with Sand-attack while you power up the Bench.

Koga's Pidgey Lv. 9 GC

Links are on the above card

Koga's Pidgey (Level 9)
40 HP
Basic Pokemon
Attack 1: Messenger
Attack 1 Energy Cost: 1 Colorless
Attack 1 Special: Put Koga's Pidgey and all cards attached to it on top of your deck. Then search your deck for any Basic Pokemon or Evolution card not named Koga's Pidgey. Show that card to your opponent, then put it into your hand. Shuffle your deck afterward.
Attack 2: Wing Attack 20
Attack 2 Energy Cost: 2 Colorless
Weakness: Electric
Resistance: Fighting
Retreat Cost: 1
Recommendation: Use a DCE on this Pokemon to use Wing Attack right away. When it gets into trouble, you can summon up another Pokemon with Messenger. This also gives you the chance to get Pidgey and the DCE back again.

Pidgeotto BS

Home>Pokeprofile>Base Set>Colorless

Pidgeotto
60 HP
Stage 1 Pokemon
Attack 1: Whirwind 20
Attack 1 Energy Cost: 2 Colorless
Attack 1 Special: If your opponent has any Benched Pokemon, he or she chooses 1 of them and switches it with the Defending Pokemon. (Do the damage before switching the Pokemon.)
Attack 2: Mirror Move
Attack 2 Energy Cost: 3 Colorless
Attack 2 Special: If Pidgeotto was attacked last turn, do the final result of that attack on Pidgeotto to the Defending Pokemon.
Weakness: Electric
Resistance: Fighting
Retreat Cost: 1
Recommendation: This may be a good time to play the DCE you were saving. Pidgeotto is good, because it can do the same amount of damage and effects on the Defending Pokemon with Mirror Move. Whirlwind should be ready from the past evolution, but put down a DCE anyway if you are planning to evolve even further. If you are searching for Pidgeot in Base Set, you won't find it. It's only in Jungle.

Pidgeot Jungle

Home>Pokeprofile>Jungle>Colorless

Pidgeot
80 HP
Stage 2 Pokemon
Attack 1: Wing Attack 20
Attack 1 Energy Cost: 2 Colorless
Attack 2: Hurricane 30
Attack 2 Energy Cost: 3 Colorless
Attack 2 Special: Unless this attack Knocks Out the Defending Pokemon, return the Defending Pokemon and all cards attached to it into your opponent's hand.
Weakness: Electric
Resistance: Fighting
Retreat Cost: 0
Recommendation: Fortunately, the Energy cost for Pidgeot is the same as the Energy cost for Pidgeotto. This way, you can attack without powering up. Use Wing Attack until your opponent is down to 30 HP, then use Hurricane to Knock it Out. If he only has the Active Pokemon left, then blow it into your opponent's hand. It may be a cheap way to win, but they don't say you can't.

Pidgeot NE

Home>Pokeprofile>Neo Expedition>Colorless

Pidgeot
80 HP
Stage 2 Pokemon
Pokemon Power: Poke-Power: Beating Wings: Once during your turn (before you attack), if Pidgeot is your Active Pokemon, you may shuffle 1 of your Benched Pokemon and all cards attached to it into your deck. This power can't be used if Pidgeot is affected by a Special Condition.
Attack 1: Sharp Beak 20+
Attack 1 Energy Cost: 3 Colorless
Attack 1 Special: Flip a coin. If heads, this attack does 20 damage plus 30 more damage.
Weakness: Electric
Resistance: Fighting
Retreat Cost: 0
Recommendation: This is a great card, if you have the evolutions to finish it. Beating Wings is strong enough to save a Benched Pokemon from being KO'd, and can save you from a deck out as well. Sharp Beak can do a max of 50 damage, and its HP will keep it attacking for a long time.
