Staryu
40 HP
Basic Pokemon
Attack 1: Slap 20
Attack 1 Energy Cost: 1 Water
Weakness: Electric
Retreat Cost: 1
Recommendation: A great splashing starter, because Staryu is like a Rattata only with more HP. This makes it last longer. The 20 damage gives you enough time to power up the next Pokemon while still keeping up an admirable defense.

Staryu
40 HP
Basic Pokemon
Attack 1: Tackle 10
Attack 1 Energy Cost: 1 Colorless
Attack 2: Bubblebeam 10
Attack 2 Energy Cost: 1 Water
Attack 2 Special: Flip a coin. If heads, the Defending Pokemon is now Paralyzed.
Weakness: Electric
Retreat Cost: 1
Recommendation: This is a nice starter for its 2 for the price of 1 attack deal. I'd always go with Bubblebeam because of its chance to Paralyze and hinder the opponent from attacking you.

Staryu
40 HP
Basic Pokemon
Attack 1: Energy Healing
Attack 1 Energy Cost: 1 Colorless
Attack 1 Special: Remove 2 damage counters from Staryu for each Energy attached to it. If it has fewer damage counters than that, remove all of them.
Attack 2: Doubleslap 10x
Attack 2 Energy Cost: 1 Water
Attack 2 Special: Flip 2 coins. This attack does 10 damage times the number of heads.
Weakness: Electric
Retreat Cost: 1
E-Reader: Construction Action Game: Level Addition: 1 Floating Koffing, 3 pools to jump over. The second pool has a Staryu that jumps high and shoots. The third pool has a Staryu that jumps lower and shoots.
Recommendation: Doubleslap is the first attack out of the gate doing a max of 20 damage. Energy Healing can save you many times if you have 2 Energy cards on him. The evolutions are better, so evolve as soon as you use Energy Healing.

Misty's Staryu
50 HP
Basic Pokemon
Attack 1: Swift 20
Attack 1 Energy Cost: 1 Water, 1 Colorless
Attack 1 Special: This attack's damage isn't affected by Weakness, Resistance, Pokemon Powers, or any other effects on the Defending Pokemon.
Weakness: Electric
Retreat Cost: 1
Recommendation: Keep this one on the Bench until it is powered up. Use Swift to guarantee 20 damage is done. Keep using it while your Bench is powering up. Switch or evolve if you need to.

Misty's Staryu
40 HP
Basic Pokemon
Attack 1: Star Boomerang 20
Attack 1 Energy Cost: 1 Water
Attack 1 Special: Flip a coin. If heads, return Misty's Staryu and all cards attached to it into your hand. (Either way, this attack does its damage.)
Weakness: Electric
Retreat Cost: 1
Recommendation: Star Boomerang keeps you fresh and new. Once you return it to your hand, you can put it on the Bench to be used again. Make sure you have a powered up Pokemon or one that has no Retreat Cost so you can use it again.

Starmie
70 HP
Stage 1 Pokemon
Attack 1: Confuse Ray 10
Attack 1 Energy Cost: 1 Water
Attack 1 Special: Flip a coin. If heads, the Defending Pokemon is now Confused.
Attack 2: Core Stream
Attack 2 Energy Cost: 2 Psychic, 1 Colorless
Attack 2 Special: Choose an Energy type other than Colorless. This attack does 20 damage to each of your opponent's Pokemon with any Energy cards of that type attached to it. Don't apply Weakness and Resistance.
Weakness: Psychic
Retreat Cost: 1
Recommendation: Once you evolve Staryu, Confuse Ray will keep the Defending Pokemon at bay while you power up Core Stream. When you use it, choose an Energy card that the opponent uses most often, then do 20 damage to each Pokemon on your opponent's side that has that Energy card on it. This makes Starmie a strong Bench Destroyer. The picture on the card is of Starmie on Pokemon Stadium firing Hydro Pump with a few purple things added to it later, so that's why I call it Stadium Starmie.
Starmie E-39 and E-67 Sky
Home>Pokeprofile>SkyRidge>Water
Starmie E-39
70 HP
Stage 1 Pokemon
Attack 1: Water Gun 10+
Attack 1 Energy Cost: 1 Water
Attack 1 Special: This attack does 10 damage plus 20 more damage for each Water Energy attached to Starmie but not used to pay for this attack's Energy cost. You can't add more than 40 damage in this way.
Attack 2: Core Blast 30+
Attack 2 Energy Cost: 3 Colorless
Attack 2 Special: This attack does 30 damage plus 20 more damage for each Special Energy card attached to the Defending Pokemon.
Weakness: Electric
Retreat Cost: 1
E-Reader: Construction Action Game: Level Addition: 4 moving platforms in the center that can get you up to a hopping Sentret. A jumping Starmie shoots out from a waterfall. You have to take it out and jump past the waterfall.
Recommendation: The classic Water Gun gets enhanced with Starmie. It can do 50 damage with 3 Energy cards. Core Blast does best against a Steel or Dark Pokemon, so use Water Gun more often.
Home>Pokeprofile>SkyRidge>Psychic
Starmie E-67
80 HP
Stage 1 Pokemon
Attack 1: Energy Burst 10x
Attack 1 Energy Cost: 1 Psychic
Attack 1 Special: Flip a coin. If heads, this attack does 10 damage times the number of Energy attached to Starmie and the Defending Pokemon.
Attack 2: Star Back 40
Attack 2 Energy Cost: 1 Psychic, 2 Colorless
Attack 2 Special: Attach a basic Energy card from your discard pile to 1 of your Pokemon.
Weakness: Psychic
Retreat Cost: 1
Recommendation: This is a great card. Though you have to flip for Energy Burst, there is no telling how much damage can be done. Star Back is a strong 40 damage attack that has the bonus of getting an Energy to a Pokemon that really needs it.
