Recommendation: This is an OK starter. Spit Poison the first turn to wear the Defender down, and use Wrap the next to Paralyze him while doing major damage.

Recommendation: Another good starter for the books. Bite is first out the gate, and then Poison Sting does more damage and also has a chance to Poison. The 50 HP also makes it last longer.

E-Reader: Clefairy's Melody Box: Instrument Change: Alien Speech - It really doesn't sound like an alien would in a movie.
Recommendation: This is a simple starting card. If Poison Sting is successful, you can do 30 damage before attacking again. That isn't bad at all. Just keep doing that until you can evolve.

Recommendation: This is a great starter with an attack that has an overlapping effect. Fast-Acting Poison does 10 damage, which is a good starting attack, but you have a 25% chance of getting the Defending Pokemon Confused and Poisoned. If that happens, the Defending Pokemon takes damage from Poison, and might take damage from Confusion if it attacks. It has a 50/50 chance of making it back to the Bench because of its Confusion, which makes this attack so nice.

Recommendation: Terror Strike is a useless attack, because it switches. Poison Fang makes up for it with the Poison factor. If you used Ekans' Wrap, then all you have to do is add one more Energy card to use Poison Fang.

(Any other effects that would happen after applying Weakness and Resistance still happen.) If that Pokemon has a Pokemon Power, that power stops working until the end of your opponent's next turn.

Attack 2 Special: The Defending Pokemon is now Poisoned. This attack does 10 damage to each of your opponent's Benched Pokemon. (Don't apply Weakness and Resistance for Benched Pokemon.)

Recommendation: This is one of the Bench Destroyers. If you used Poison Sting as Ekans, you are in good shape. Stare can work against Benched Pokemon who have only 10 HP left. Poison Vapor slowly weakens the entire Bench to knock most of them out at one time. The added Poison bonus makes this a formidable card. Use Rocket's Hideout to make it even more dangerous.

Recommendation: Poison Power does work best if you are Poisoned, but Poison whittles down your HP. If you plan on using this card, make sure to have Full Heal on hand.
