Recommendation: If you send this Pokemon out, you're not getting it back on the Bench. The Retreat Cost is too much. Leer can stall, and Horn Attack can take out a Pokemon in two turns. The 70 HP makes it last long, but be prepared to lose a prize when you play him.

Recommendation: Too bad there isn't a Blaine's Rhydon, it would make a great battler. Horn Charge is an OK attack, but you should power this one on the Bench. Overrun will work without flipping for it, and it can do 20 damage to a Benched Pokemon, and hopefully a weakened one at that.

Recommendation: This is one of the most dangerous Basic Pokemon in the game. The only problem is that it only has a 25% chance for its attack to work. Use this Pokemon readily, but keep it on the Bench until you are ready to use it, because the Retreat Cost keeps it from coming back to the Bench.

Recommendation: This is a nice card to have in your deck even though it's rare. Power up Take Down to do 40 damage, then use Horn Toss if it means that it will KO that Pokemon. Evolve this one into Brock's Rhydon.

Recommendation: He has a powered attack from a past evolution, so it can use it right away. Ram is a great attack, but you can't use it too much or it will loose the prize. This is a stand alone Pokemon, so be prepared to let it go and use Ram for the last attack.

Recommendation: Stomp is a strong attack the instant you evolve Rhyhorn because it can do 50 damage max. When Giant Tail is ready, use it all the time, even though you may not do any damage.

Recommendation: There is very little use for this Pokemon's Power, but it has 1 advantage. If your entire Bench gets damaged, this Pokemon collects that damage so it can be taken off with 1 Healing Item instead of a whole bunch of them. This works best if you attach a Gold Berry to it. Lariat may miss, but it does a large amount of damage when it hits which makes it such a good fighter.
