Teddiursa ND

Links for this card are the same as above.

Teddiursa
40 HP
Basic Pokemon
Attack 1: Scratch 10
Attack 1 Energy Cost: 1 Colorless
Attack 2: Nap Time
Attack 2 Special: Remove all damage counters from Teddiursa. Teddiursa is now Asleep.
Weakness: Fighting
Resistance: Psychic
Retreat Cost: 1
Recommendation: This starter is good to stall with. Use Scratch until you are about to be KO'd. Then, add an Energy card and use Nap Time. Get a Full Heal or a Miracle Berry ready to cure it. When the evolution arrives, use a DCE to get it ready.

Teddiursa
40 HP
Basic Pokemon
Attack 1: Surprise Attack 20
Attack 1 Energy Cost: 1 Colorless
Attack 1 Special: Flip a coin. If tails, this attack does nothing.
Attack 2: Rage 10+
Attack 2 Energy Cost: 2 Colorless
Attack 2 Special: This attack does 10 more damage for each damage counter on Teddiursa.
Weakness: Fighting
Retreat Cost: 1
E-Reader: A rather odd puppet game. You control where Teddiursa moves and what he does, just barely.
Recommendation: This cute little Pokemon packs a slightly larger punch. Surprise Attack can do a strong first lick, but it is chancy to use. Rage can do a max of 40 damage in one hit, but I wouldn't want to be in that condition in the first place.

Ursaring ND

Home>Pokeprofile>Neo Discovery>Colorless

Ursaring
80 HP
Stage 1 Pokemon
Attack 1: Headpress 20
Attack 1 Energy Cost: 2 Colorless
Attack 1 Special: Flip a coin. If heads, the Defending Pokemon is now Paralyzed. If tails, this attack does nothing (not even damage).
Attack 2: Double Lariat 40x
Attack 2 Energy Cost: 4 Colorless
Attack 2 Special: Flip 2 coins. This attack does 40 damage times the number of heads.
Weakness: Fighting
Resistance: Psychic
Retreat Cost: 3
Recommendation: This card deserves 1 DCE, but only 1. You have to save some for the others. Power this one up on the Bench until Double Lariat is ready. Skip Headpress, it's too risky. Double Lariat does a max of 80 damage, which will do a lot of damage in the long run.

Ursaring Sky

Home>Pokeprofile>SkyRidge>Colorless

Ursaring
80 HP
Stage 1 Pokemon
Attack 1: Bear Hug 30
Attack 1 Energy Cost: 3 Colorless
Attack 1 Special: The Defending Pokemon can't retreat during your opponent's next turn.
Attack 2: Rend 40+
Attack 2 Energy Cost: 4 Colorless
Attack 2 Special: If the Defending Pokemon already has any damage counters on it, this attack does 40 damage plus 20 more damage. If not, this attack does 40 damage.
Weakness: Fighting
Retreat Cost: 2
E-Reader: Part 1 of 4 for an Ursaring Berry mini-game.
Recommendation: As usual, an Ursaring takes a lot of Energy to use its attacks, but they are very powerful. Use Bear Hug first to put damage on and set the opponent up for the big hurt of 60 damage with Rend. 90 damage in 2 turns is tough to beat for a Stage 1 Pokemon.

Dark Ursaring NDes

Dark Ursaring
60 HP
Stage 1 Pokemon
Attack 1: Provoke
Attack 1 Energy Cost: 1 Colorless
Attack 1 Special: Look at your opponent's hand. If he or she has any Baby Pokemon and/or Basic Pokemon there, you may put any number of them onto your opponent's Bench (as long as there's room). Then, your opponent looks at your hand. If you have any Baby Pokemon and/or Basic Pokemon there, your opponent may put any number of them onto your Bench (as long as there's room).
Attack 2: Battle Frenzy
Attack 2 Energy Cost: 2 Colorless
Attack 2 Special: For each Pokemon in play (yours and your opponent's), flip a coin. For each heads, this attack does 20 damage to that Pokemon. Don't apply Weakness or Resistance for this attack.
Weakness: Fighting
Resistance: Psychic
Retreat Cost: 2
Recommendation: Wow, as the game gets new expansions, the strategy becomes new as well, not to mention harder to type. There are two cards you should use with this one. After you use Provoke, I recommend only one time, use a Super Scoop Up to take out those Basic Pokemon on your Bench. Before you use Battle Frenzy, put a Transparent Walls down to protect your Bench. This card is a Bench Destroyer, so we laid down all of those Basics and Babies to wipe them out. Two turns of that and the Baby Pokemon are through. Don't forget that Dark Ursaring is in play as well, so it can do damage to itself too. This card is for experts only.
