Weedle
40 HP
Basic Pokemon
Attack 1: Spike Stab 20
Attack 1 Energy Cost: 1 Grass
Attack 1 Special: Flip a coin. If heads, the Defending Pokemon is now Poisoned. If tails, this attack does nothing (not even damage).
Weakness: Fire
Retreat Cost: 1
Recommendation: This is a nice little starter, Spike Stab can do a max of 20 with Poison or do nothing what so ever. Evolve it as soon as you can to protect yourself, then evolve it again to have penultimate power.

Weedle
40 HP
Basic Pokemon
Attack 1: Fury Attack 10x
Attack 1 Energy Cost: 1 Grass
Attack 1 Special: Flip 3 coins. This attack does 10 damage times the number of heads.
Weakness: Fire
Retreat Cost: 1
E-Reader: Part 2 of 4 for a Hoothoot mini game.
Recommendation: This is one of the strongest Weedles I've seen. In the first turn, you can inflict a max of 30 damage to the Defending Pokemon, which is super strong for a Basic Pokemon. It cannot hold the title of Basic Battler unless it has 60 HP or more, but it is a good starter.

Koga's Weedle
40 HP
Basic Pokemon
Attack 1: Sting 10
Attack 1 Energy Cost: 1 Colorless
Attack 2: Sharp Stinger 10
Attack 2 Energy Cost: 1 Grass, 1 Colorless
Attack 2 Special: Flip a coin. If heads, the Defending Pokemon is now Poisoned; if tails, the Defending Pokemon is now Paralyzed.
Weakeness: Fire
Retreat Cost: 1
Recommendation: This is a good starter as well. Sting does damage while you power up Sharp Stinger that can create an effect, no matter what the flip. Personally, I'd hope for tails, so I can keep the Defending Pokemon from attacking or retreating.

Kakuna
70 HP
Stage 1 Pokemon
Attack 1: Secrete Poison
Attack 1 Energy Cost: 2 Grass
Attack 1 Special: During your opponent's next turn, whenever your opponent's attack damages Kakuna (even if Kakuna is Knocked Out), your opponent's Active Pokemon is now Poisoned and Kakuna does 10 damage to each of your opponent's Benched Pokemon. (Don't apply Weakness and Resistance for Benched Pokemon.)
Weakness: Fire
Retreat Cost: 2
Recommendation: This is a nice Bench Destroyer. The only way your opponent can dodge this attack is if he or she doesn't attack. Add a Focus Band on to him to keep him going for another turn. The evolved form will be a big payday.

Kakuna
70 HP
Stage 1 Pokemon
Pokemon Power: Poke-Body: Exoskeleton: All damage done by attacks to Kakuna is reduced by 10 (after applying Weakness and Resistance).
Attack 1: Poisonpowder
Attack 1 Energy Cost: 1 Grass
Attack 1 Special: The Defending Pokemon is now Poisoned.
Weakness: Fire
Retreat Cost: 2
E-Reader: Special Attack. Hint: 2 random things, 1 about damage removal.
Recommendation: This is one of the stronger Kakunas. Exoskeleton can deflect weak attacks, but it can't get far against strong ones. Poisonpowder guarantees poison to work, and the E-Reader attack keeps him alive. Use it until you evolve. Trust me on this.
Beedrill ND

Beedrill
80 HP
Stage 2 Pokemon
Attack 1: Triple Poison 10
Attack 1 Energy Cost: 1 Grass
Attack 1 Special: Flip a coin. If heads, the Defending Pokemon is now Poisoned. Your opponent now puts 3 damage counters on it instead of 1 after each player's turn (even if it was already Poisoned).
Attack 2: Pin Missile 20x
Attack 2 Energy Cost: 2 Grass, 1 Colorless
Attack 2 Special: Flip 4 coins. This attack does 20 damage times the number of heads.
Weakness: Fire
Resistance: Fighting
Retreat Cost: 0
Recommendation: Use Triple Poison heartily. If the coin lands heads, it can KO a 40 HP Pokemon without you attacking it a second time. Use it until the Defending Pokemon is Poisoned, then turn loose an 80 damage max Pin Missile. If you need to, save it by switching.

Beedrill
80 HP
Stage 2 Pokemon
Pokemon Power: Poke-Power: Venom Spray: When you play Beedrill from your hand to evolve your Active Pokemon, the Defending Pokemon is now Paralyzed and Poisoned.
Attack 1: Needle Rush 10+
Attack 1 Energy Cost: 2 Colorless
Attack 1 Special: Flip 4 coins. If you get 1 heads, this attack does 10 damage plus 10 more damage. If you get 2 heads, this attack does 10 damage plus 20 more damage. If you get 3 heads, this attack does 10 damage plus 50 more damage. If you get 4 heads, this attack does 10 damage plus 90 more damage.
Weakness: Fire
Retreat Cost: 0
E-Reader: Construction Action Game: Level Addition: 3 horizontal moving Beedrills with three up and down platforms that cross paths with them. Bee very careful (pun intended).
Recommendation: This card has to be one of the best Beedrills ever. Venom Spray is an ingenious way of holding the Defending Pokemon is place while doing damage. With Venom Spray, you can hold a fully evolved Pokemon in place and do 30 damage before it can attack. If that doesn't KO the Defending Pokemon by itself, Needle Rush will finish the job. When first typing this attack, I was thinking, "Why couldn't they just call this Fury Cutter?" and then I took a closer look. Needle Rush does more than double on the third and fourth heads. In fact, it can do 100 damage maximum. It only has a 1 in 16 chance of doing that, but it is still very strong. That will almost assuredly KO the Venom Sprayed Defending Pokemon.
