Chikorita Lv. 12 NG

Links for this card are the same as above.

Chikorita (Level 12)
40 HP
Basic Pokemon
Attack 1: Tackle 10
Attack 1 Energy Cost: 1 Colorless
Attack 2: Deflector
Attack 2 Energy Cost: 1 Grass
Attack 2 Special: During your opponent's next turn, whenever Chikorita takes damage, divide that damage in half (rounded down to the nearest 10). (Any other effects of attacks still happen.)
Weakness: Fire
Retreat Cost: 1
Recommendation: This is a valuable stall card if you need to power up your Bench. Deflector cuts damage in half, so use it well against Basic Pokemon, and use Tackle to weaken it. It doesn't last long, so evolve or switch. This is the best candidate for the Level 39 Bayleef.

Chikorita Lv. 19 NG

Links for this card are the same as above.

Chikorita (Level 19)
50 HP
Basic Pokemon
Attack 1: Growl
Attack 1 Energy Cost: 1 Colorless
Attack 1 Special: If the Defending Pokemon attacks Chikorita during your opponent's next turn, any damage done to Chikorita is reduced by 10 (before applying Weakness and Resistance). (Benching or evolving either Pokemon ends this effect.)
Attack 2: Razor Leaf 20
Attack 2 Energy Cost: 1 Grass, 1 Colorless
Weakness: Fire
Retreat Cost: 1
Recommendation: This starter is great. Use Growl against Basics the first turn, then use Razor Leaf the second to do 20 damage. The 50 HP lets it last long enough to do some real damage. Evolve this one into the Level 22 Bayleef.

Chikorita A-05 NE

Home>Pokeprofile>Neo Expedition>Grass

Chikorita A-05
40 HP
Basic Pokemon
Attack 1: Hypnotic Gaze
Attack 1 Energy Cost: 1 Colorless
Attack 1 Special: The Defending Pokemon is now Asleep.
Attack 2: Double Scratch 20x
Attack 2 Energy Cost: 1 Grass, 1 Colorless
Attack 2 Special: Flip 2 coins. This attack does 20 damage times the number of heads.
Weakness: Fire
Resistance: Water
Retreat Cost: 1
E-Reader: Clefairy's Melody Box: Chikorita's voice singing the tune.
Recommendation: This is a good card to have. Hypnotic Gaze will have the Defender snoozing in no time, and during that time, you can power up Double Scratch, an attack that can do a max of its HP.

Chikorita A-06 NE

Links for this card are the same as above.

Chikorita A-06
50 HP
Basic Pokemon
Attack 1: Razor Leaf 10
Attack 1 Energy Cost: 1 Grass
Attack 2: Sleep Powder 10
Attack 2 Energy Cost: 2 Colorless
Attack 2 Special: The Defending Pokemon is now Asleep.
Weakness: Fire
Resistance: Water
Retreat Cost: 1
E-Reader: Clefairy's Meldoy Box: Tune change to Tango Music.
Recommendation: This is a good starting Pokemon. Out of the gate, Chikorita does damage, and then stalls the damage from touching it with Sleep Powder most turns after that. The 50 HP with Sleep Powder should keep this Pokemon alive for a while.

Bayleef Lv. 22 NG

Home>Pokeprofile>Neo Genesis>Grass

Bayleef (Level 22)
70 HP
Stage 1 Pokemon
Attack 1: Poisonpowder 20
Attack 1 Energy Cost: 1 Grass, 1 Colorless
Attack 1 Special: Flip a coin. If heads, the Defending Pokemon is now Poisoned.
Attack 2: Pollen Shield 30
Attack 2 Energy Cost: 2 Grass, 1 Colorless
Attack 2 Special: During your opponent's next turn, Bayleef can't become Asleep, Confused, Paralyzed, or Poisoned. (All other effects of attacks, Pokemon Powers, and Trainer cards still happen.)
Weakness: Fire
Retreat Cost: 2
Recommendation: Poisonpowder is ready to do 20 damage while giving a Poison bonus. Use it until the Defending Pokemon is Poisoned, then use Pollen Shield to protect it while it does damage. This may just be the best candidate to evolve into the Level 57 Meganium.

Bayleef Lv. 39 NG

Links for this card are the same as above.

Bayleef (Level 39)
80 HP
Stage 1 Pokemon
Attack 1: Sweet Scent
Attack 1 Energy Cost: 1 Grass
Attack 1 Energy Cost: Flip a coin. If heads and if any of your Pokemon have any damage counters on them, then remove 2 damage counters from 1 of them (or 1 if it only has 1). If tails and if any of your opponent's Pokemon have any damage counters on them, choose 1 of them and remove 2 damage counters from it (or 1 if it only has 1).
Attack 2: Double Razor Leaf 40x
Attack 2 Energy Cost: 3 Grass
Attack 2 Special: Flip 2 coins. This attack does 40 damage times the number of heads.
Weakness: Fire
Retreat Cost: 2
Recommendation: Sweet Scent works right away, and if you put an Energy card on it the turn you evolve it, Double Razor Leaf is ready to go the next turn. Sweet Scent gives your weakened Pokemon a chance to fight again without using a Healing Item, but if you get a tails, make sure to take the damage away from the most insignificant Pokemon that you can. Double Razor Leaf can do a max of 80 damage, which makes it a formidable opponent.

Bayleef A-07 NE

Home>Pokeprofile>Neo Expedition>Grass

Bayleef A-07
70 HP
Stage 1 Pokemon
Attack 1: Mysterious Powder
Attack 1 Energy Cost: 1 Colorless
Attack 1 Special: Flip a coin. If heads, the Defending Pokemon is now Confused.
Attack 2: Razor Leaf 30
Attack 2 Energy Cost: 1 Grass, 1 Colorless
Weakness: Fire
Resistance: Water
Retreat Cost: 1
Recommendation: This is a good card, but slightly on the weak side. Mysterious Powder should be used until the Pokemon is Confused, then Razor Leaf can take it out without much worry of damage.

Meganium Lv. 57 NG

Home>Pokeprofile>Neo Genesis>Grass

Meganium (Level 57)
100 HP
Stage 2 Pokemon
Pokemon Power: Wild Growth: As long as Meganium is in play, each Grass Energy card attached to your Grass Pokemon instead provides 2 Grass Energy. This power stops working while Meganium is Asleep, Confused, or Paralyzed.
Attack 1: Soothing Scent 40
Attack 1 Energy Cost: 4 Grass
Attack 1 Special: The Defending Pokemon is now Asleep.
Weakness: Fire
Retreat Cost: 3
Recommendation: The Energy Cost for Soothing Scent is pretty hefty. But Wild Growth takes care of that. Instead, it now takes 2 Grass Energy cards to do 40 damage and a Sleepy bonus. If it was evolved from the one I suggested before, Soothing Scent is ready to go no matter what.

Meganium B-66 NE

Home>Pokeprofile>Neo Expedition>Grass

Meganium B-66
100 HP
Stage 2 Pokemon
Pokemon Power: Poke-Power: Soothing Aroma: Once during your turn (before you attack), you may flip a coin. If heads, remove 1 damage counter from each of your Pokemon that has any. This power can't be used if Meganium is affected by a Special Condition.
Attack 1: Poisonpowder 40
Attack 1 Energy Cost: 2 Grass, 2 Colorless
Attack 1 Special: The Defending Pokemon is now Poisoned.
Weakness: Fire
Resistance: Water
Retreat Cost: 2
Recommendation: This card's power is like a Bench Healer. This can make sure that most of the Pokemon on your Bench won't be KO'd by a Bench Destroying attack. Poisonpowder may take a lot of Energy to power up, but it can do 60 damage before you have to attack again. Only 120 HP cards will last 2 attacking turns with that kind of damage sent out.
