Attack 2 Energy Cost: 3 Electric
Attack 2 Special: This attack's damage isn't attected by Weakness, Resistance, Pokemon Powers, or any other effects on the Defending Pokemon.

Electabuzz
60 HP
Basic Pokemon
Attack 1: Energy Draw
Attack 1 Energy Cost: 1 Colorless
Attack 1 Special: Search your deck for a basic Energy card and attach it to Electabuzz. Shuffle your deck afterward.
Attack 2: Reflect Energy 20
Attack 2 Energy Cost: 1 Electric, 1 Colorless
Attack 2 Special: If you have any Benched Pokemon and if there are any basic Energy cards attached to Electabuzz, take 1 of those Energy cards and attach it to 1 of those Pokemon.
Weakness: Fighting
Retreat Cost: 2
Recommendation: This Basic Battler has all the right stuff. For starters, if you don't have the right Energy cards, play a different one on Electabuzz and yank one out of the deck. Use Reflect Energy the next turn, but give the Energy other than Electric so that you can power it up with any card you want. This not only powers your Bench, but puts a nice dent in your opponent's Active Pokemon.

Electabuzz EX
90 HP
Basic Pokemon
Attack 1: Thundershock 10
Attack 1 Energy Cost: 1 Electric
Attack 1 Special: Flip a coin. If heads, the Defending Pokemon is now Paralyzed.
Attack 2: Quick Attack 40+
Attack 2 Energy Cost: 2 Electric, 1 Colorless
Attack 2 Special: Flip a coin. If heads, this attack does 40 damage plus 20 more damage.
Weakness: Fighting
Resistance: Steel
Retreat Cost: 2
Recommendation: This is a weak and strong EX card at once. Thundershock is a basically weak attack with a Paralysis bonus, but this is the strongest Quick Attack with a max of 60 damage in one shot. This card rocks.
Elekid NG

Elekid
30 HP
Baby Pokemon
Baby Power: If this Baby Pokemon is your Active Pokemon and your opponent tries to attack, your opponent flips a coin (before doing anything required in order to use that attack). If tails, your opponent's turn ends without an attack.
Pokemon Power: Playful Punch: Once during your turn (before you attack), you may flip a coin. If heads, do 20 damage to your opponent's Active Pokemon. (Apply Weakness and Resistance.) Either way, this ends your turn. This power can't be used if Elekid is Asleep, Confused, or Paralyzed.
Retreat Cost: 0
Recommendation: This is a great card to stall with. If you have a Pokemon that has a high Retreat Cost upfront and no Energy cards to attack with, use this power to do 20 damage while the Active Pokemon awaits an Energy card or defeat.
Elekid Aqua

Elekid
30 HP
Baby Pokemon
Baby Power: If your Active Pokemon is a Baby Pokemon and your opponent announces an attack, your opponent flips a coin (before doing anything else). If tails, your opponent's turn ends.
Attack 1: Energy Kick
Attack 1 Energy Cost: 1 Electric
Attack 1 Special: Flip a coin. If heads, choose an Energy card attached to the Defending Pokemon. Your opponent moves that card to 1 of his or her other Pokemon. (If your opponent has no Benched Pokemon, this attack does nothing.)
Retreat Cost: 1
E-Reader: Construction Action Game: Map Addition: A Koffing floating on a higher level, dropping sludge bombs, and an Elekid on the other side guarding a Pokeball power up.
Recommendation: Baby Pokemon are purely stall cards, and this one is no exception. The baby power slows the Defender down while Energy Kick takes off those Energy cards. Take note of what Pokemon the opponent attaches the Energy to. That may be the precursor of some large evolution scheme.
