Recommendation: This is a great starter. Put a DCE on him so he can use Leek Jab the second turn. Since it does 40 damage, the creators decided not to let him use it again next turn, but if you combine it with Dodrio's Retreat Aid, you can switch in and out again without having to discard a card.

Recommendation: Whirlwind could get out a weak Pokemon to the Active list, but the opponent gets to choose, so you may be putting yourself at a disadvantage too. Leek Rush can do unlimited amounts of damage, but it is very unlikely to get more than 40 damage in one hit. It could also do nothing. Be very careful in using this card.
