Slugma
50 HP
Basic Pokemon
Attack 1: Flare 10
Attack 1 Energy Cost: 1 Fire
Attack 2: Magma Ring 20
Attack 2 Energy Cost: 2 Fire
Attack 2 Special: The Defending Pokemon can't retreat during your opponent's next turn.
Weakness: Water
Retreat Cost: 2
Recommendation: This is a nice starter. Flare does 10 damage for 1 Energy, and the next turn, Magma Ring keeps your opponent from retreating with a nice 20 damage. This attack can be countered by Trainer cards that switch the Defending Pokemon. The Retreat Cost is a little on the high side, so add a few Switch Trainers or Balloon Berries to get it on the Bench.

Slugma
50 HP
Basic Pokemon
Attack 1: Combustion 30
Attack 1 Energy Cost: 2 Fire
Weakness: Water
Retreat Cost: 2
Recommendation: You know what I'm going to say about this card, but the 30 damage makes up for its follies really quick. Evolve it when it is weakened and finish the opponent off.

Slugma E-12
50 HP
Basic Pokemon
Attack 1: Tackle 10
Attack 1 Energy Cost: 1 Colorless
Attack 2: Scorching Lava
Attack 2 Energy Cost: 1 Fire
Attack 2 Special: Discard a Fire Energy card attached to Slugma in order to use this attack. The Defending Pokemon is now Burned.
Weakness: Water
Retreat Cost: 2
E-Reader: Construction Action Game: Level Addition: On the top level is a Slugma that shoots fireballs. The entrance to the second path must come from the right, where a Magcargo is that can shoot through walls. There is also a Pokeball recharge there.
Recommendation: This is a weak excuse for a Slugma. Tackle is a standard attack, and I know of plenty of other Burning attacks where you don't have to discard cards. Leave this one at home.

Slugma F-12
50 HP
Basic Pokemon
Attack 1: Singe 10
Attack 1 Energy Cost: 1 Fire, 1 Colorless
Attack 1 Special: The Defending Pokemon is now Burned.
Weakness: Water
Retreat Cost: 2
E-Reader: Construction Action Game: Level Addition: 2 Slugmas and a Magcargo on top of a large block, with another Slugma under the block.
Recommendation: This card needs to start on the Bench, but it is better than the other Slugma. Singe not only does 10 damage but it can Burn without discarding Energy. It is still pretty weak, so evolve it quickly.

Magcargo
80 HP
Stage 1 Pokemon
Pokemon Power: Magma Pool: If Magcargo is your Active Pokemon and moves to the Bench, remove 1 Fire Energy card attached to Magcargo, if any, and attach it to the new Active Pokemon. (You can't choose an Energy card that you used to pay the Retreat Cost.)
Attack 1: Lava Flow 40+
Attack 1 Energy Cost: 3 Fire
Attack 1 Special: You may discard any number of Fire Energy cards attached to Magcargo when you use this attack. If you do, this attack does 40 damage plus 20 more damage for each Fire Energy card you discarded in this way.
Weakness: Water
Retreat Cost: 3
Recommendation: If you want this Pokemon to be used well, Bench Slugma before you evolve it. Add as many Fire Energy cards as you can to him before you send him out. Lava Flow will do as much damage as you want it to. Be smart and don't discard all of the Energy cards. Just discard enough to KO the Defending Pokemon. Remember, if you have only 3 Energy cards on him, it will still do 40 damage while you power him up again. If you are in a pinch, discard those 3 to do 100 damage max. Magma Pool was specifically designed to be used with Balloon Berry, that way, you don't have to pay for the Retreat Cost while giving an Energy card to the new Active Pokemon. Otherwise, you'd have to have 4 Energy cards on Magcargo to use it fully.
Magcargo E-60 and F-69 Sky
Home>Pokeprofile>SkyRidge>Fire
Magcargo E-60
80 HP
Stage 1 Pokemon
Attack 1: Eruption 20+
Attack 1 Energy Cost: 2 Colorless
Attack 1 Special: Each player discards the top card of his or her deck. This attack does 20 damage plus 20 more damage for each Fire Energy card discarded in this way.
Attack 2: Fire Stream 60
Attack 2 Energy Cost: 2 Fire, 2 Colorless
Attack 2 Special: Discard a Fire Energy card attached to Magcargo in order to use this attack. If your opponent has any Benched Pokemon, this attack does 10 damage to each of them. (Don't apply Weakness and Resistance for Benched Pokemon.)
Weakness: Water
Retreat Cost: 3
Recommendation: Unfortunately, the only way to do a lot of damage with Eruption is if your opponent also has a Fire deck. If so, it can do a max of 60 damage, but I wouldn't use it very often. You need those Energies to power up Fire Stream, which can do 60 damage and Bench Destroy.

Magcargo F-69
80 HP
Stage 1 Pokemon
Pokemon Power: Poke-Power: Streaming Mantle: When you play Magcargo from your hand to evolve your Active Pokemon, you may discard the top 3 cards of your deck and then shuffle 3 basic Energy cards from your discard pile into your deck. If you do, your opponent does the same.
Attack 1: Crushing Lava 40+
Attack 1 Energy Cost: 1 Fighting, 2 Colorless
Attack 1 Special: You may discard a Fire or Fighting basic Energy card attached to Magcargo. If you discard a Fire Energy card in this way, the Defending Pokeon is now Burned. If you discard a Fighting Energy card in this way, this attack does 40 damage plus 20 more damage.
Weakness: Water
Retreat Cost: 3
Recommendation: Depending on the type of deck you have helps you decide what effect the attack should do. Discarding a Fighting Energy will do 60 damage, which is pretty strong. Discarding a Fire Energy will Burn, which can help KO a triple digit HP Pokemon. I see no real use for Streaming Mantle.
Dark Magcargo NDes
Home>Pokeprofile>Neo Destiny>Fire
Dark Magcargo
60 HP
Stage 1 Pokemon
Pokemon Power: Hot Plate: As long as Dark Magcargo is your Active Pokemon, whenever a player puts a Baby Pokemon or a Basic Pokemon onto his or her Bench from his or her hand, this power does 10 damage to that Pokemon. (Don't apply Weakness and Resistance.) This power stops working while Dark Magcargo is Asleep, Confused, or Paralyzed.
Attack 1: Ball of Flame 20
Attack 1 Energy Cost: 2 Fire
Attack 1 Special: You may discard a Fire Energy card attached to Dark Magcargo when you use this attack. If you do and if your opponent has any Benched Pokemon, choose 1 of them and this attack does 20 damage to it. (Don't apply Weakness and Resistance for Benched Pokemon.)
Weakness: Water
Retreat Cost: 3
Recommendation: This card is specifically designed to take out Benched Babies. Hot Plate damages them when they are put on, and then Ball of Flame KO's them while doing damage to the Active Pokemon. Better send out Rocket's Hideout, because you have to make a stand with this card, unless you want to use a Balloon Berry.
