Voltorb TR

Links for this card are the same as above.

Voltorb
40 HP
Basic Pokemon
Attack 1: Speed Ball 20
Attack 1 Energy Cost: 1 Electric
Weakness: Fighting
Retreat Cost: 1
Recommendation: A good starter, better than the original because it does 20 damage in 1 shot. Need I say more?

Voltorb Aqua

Voltorb C-20
50 HP
Basic Pokemon
Attack 1: Rollout 10
Attack 1 Energy Cost: 1 Colorless
Attack 2: Thundershock 20
Attack 2 Energy Cost: 1 Electric, 1 Colorless
Attack 2 Special: Flip a coin. If heads, the Defending Pokemon is now Paralyzed.
Weakness: Fighting
Retreat Cost: 1
E-Reader: Part 3 of 4 for a Voltorb mini-game.
Recommendation: This is a strong stalling starter. Rollout does 10 damage on the first turn, and on the second, Thundershock can do 20 with a chance of Paralysis. Thundershock should make it last while taking out a couple of Basic Pokemon.

Voltorb Sky

Voltorb
50 HP
Basic Pokemon
Attack 1: Magnetic Pull
Attack 1 Energy Cost: 1 Electric
Attack 1 Special: If your opponent has any Benched Pokemon, choose 1 of them and switch it with the Defending Pokemon.
Attack 2: Spin Tackle 30
Attack 2 Energy Cost: 1 Electric, 1 Colorless
Attack 2 Special: Voltorb does 10 damage to itself.
Weakness: Fighting
Retreat Cost: 1
Recommendation: This is a great rack-them-up and knock-them-down Pokemon. Magnetic Pull lets you choose the weakest Pokemon, and Spin Tackle takes that Pokemon to the discard pile. Be careful not to KO yourself, so evolve when you get close.

Lt. Surge's Voltorb GH

Home>Pokeprofile>Gym Heroes>Electric

Lt. Surge's Voltorb
40 HP
Basic Pokemon
Attack 1: Spin Ball 20x
Attack 1 Energy Cost: 1 Electric
Attack 1 Special: Flip 1 coin. This attack does 10 damage times the number of heads.
Attack 2: Double Spin 20x
Attack 2 Energy Cost: 1 Electric, 1 Colorless
Attack 2 Special: Flip 2 coins. This attack does 20 damage times the number of heads.
Weakness: Fighting
Retreat Cost: 1
Recommendation: This is an all or nothing starter because of its first attack. Heads = 20, Tails = 0. The second attack does better than the first because it has a better chance of doing damage.

Lt. Surge's Voltorb GC

Home>Pokeprofile>Gym Challenge>Electric

Lt. Surge's Voltorb
50 HP
Basic Pokemon
Attack 1: Bouncing Ball 30
Attack 1 Energy Cost: 1 Electric, 1 Colorless
Attack 1 Special: Flip a coin. If tails, Lt. Surge's Voltorb does 10 damage to itself.
Weakness: Fighting
Retreat Cost: 1
Recommendation: Keep this one on the Bench until it is ready to go. Bouncing Ball does do a lot of damage for a Basic Pokemon, but the risk factor hurts as well.

Electrode Aqua

Home>Pokeprofile>Aquapolis>Electric

Electrode
70 HP
Stage 1 Pokemon
Pokemon Power: Poke-Power: Super Dynamo: Once during your turn (before you attack), if Electrode is your Active Pokemon, you may flip a coin. If heads, choose an Electric Energy card from your discard pile and attach it to 1 of your Pokemon. This power can't be used if Electrode is affected by a Special Condition.
Attack 1: Swift 30
Attack 1 Energy Cost: 1 Electric, 1 Colorless
Attack 1 Special: This attack's damage isn't affected by Weakness, Resistance, Poke-Powers, Poke-Bodies, or any other effects on the Defending Pokemon.
Weakness: Fighting
Retreat Cost: 1
E-Reader: Clefairy's Melody Box: Tune Change: Party Music
Recommendation: This Poke-Power is one of the ones that can help out Zapdos. Get it out as soon as possible and start powering up. Since Swift isn't affected by anything, it can KO any Baby Pokemon that is Active. Also, Smokescreens don't work. The only way your opponent can stop you if if he or she hits Electrode hard and fast.

Electrode Sky

Home>Pokeprofile>SkyRidge>Electric

Electrode
70 HP
Stage 1 Pokemon
Attack 1: Plasma 20
Attack 1 Energy Cost: 2 Colorless
Attack 1 Special: If there are any Electric Energy cards in your discard pile, flip a coin. If heads, attach 1 of them to Electrode.
Attack 2: Selfdestruct 100
Attack 2 Energy Cost: 2 Electric, 2 Colorless
Attack 2 Special: This attack does 20 damage to each Pokemon on each player's Bench. (Don't apply Weakness and Resistance for Benched Pokemon.) Electrode does 100 damage to itself.
Weakness: Fighting
Retreat Cost: 1
E-Reader: Secret Special Power.
Recommendation: Selfdestruct does 100 damage, but it does so much to the other Pokemon it can be considered a Bench Destroyer and Bench Devastator unless you have Transparent Walls.

Dark Electrode TR

Home>Pokeprofile>Team Rocket>Electric

Dark Electrode
60 HP
Stage 1 Pokemon
Attack 1: Rolling Tackle 10
Attack 1 Energy Cost: 1 Colorless
Attack 2: Energy Bomb 30
Attack 2 Energy Cost: 2 Electric
Attack 2 Special: Take all Energy cards attached to Dark Electrode and attach them to your Benched Pokemon (in any way you choose). If you have no Benched Pokemon, discard all Energy cards attached to Dark Electrode.
Weakness: Fighting
Retreat Cost: 1
Recommendation: Attach as much Energy to Dark Electrode as possible on the Bench, so you can use Energy Bomb, and distribute it to your Bench as needed. Attach 1 Energy and retreat him to a powered Pokemon and start the process over again.

Lt. Surge's Electrode GC

Home>Pokeprofile>Gym Challenge>Electric

Lt. Surge's Electrode
70 HP
Stage 1 Pokemon
Pokemon Power: Shock Blast: If Lt. Surge's Electrode is your Active Pokemon and gets damaged (even if it's Knocked Out), flip a coin. If tails, this power does 20 damage to each Active Pokemon. This power works even if Lt. Surge's Electrode is already Asleep, Confused, or Paralyzed when it takes damage.
Attack 1: Power Ball 30+
Attack 1 Energy Cost: 2 Electric, 1 Colorless
Attack 1 Special: Flip 3 coins. This attack does 30 damage plus 10 more damage for each heads.
Weakness: Fighting
Retreat Cost: 2
Recommendation: Electrode's are usually sacrifice Pokemon, and this is no different. Its power can do damage to both Pokemon, which could KO both at the same time. Power Ball can do a max of 60 damage, which can be very helpful in using the power.
