Lost Frontier is a musical group based in Pittsburgh, PA [USA]. We write and record original music for our own enjoyment. Our "sound" is hard to define, as we end up writing tunes of many different styles. Overall, our roots are in rock.. however, a lot of our songs are predominantly acoustic guitar and backing band with somewhat folksy vocals. The songs you will hear at this site (if you have audio) were recorded at Klondike Inn recording studios in Pittsburgh. We'd like to thank Mike Palone and Phil Isaly for their fine engineering and mixing. Please bear in mind that the samples were originally 16-bit stereo .WAV files, which were then converted to 8-bit mono, and then converted to .AU format in order to support more machine platforms. In other words, the quality of the samples may suck, depending on what kind of setup you're running. Hey, if my service provider would give me more than 2 lousy megs without charging extra cash, I'd toss 16-bit stereo .WAV files up here for you, but that won't be happening anytime soon!
