A Compilation of Northwest PA's Best New Music
Almost two years ago, Paul Gorman conceived and organized a compilation that brushed the
surface of Northwest Pennsylvania's music scene, helping expose people to bands that they
might have otherwise never heard, doing a great service to the musicians in the area.
That was the ToolCity Underground.
On August 21, a compilation of new recordings of the area's best loved and up-and-coming
bands and musicians hit the street.
It is the ToolCity Underground II.
To support the release of the compilation, a concert was scheduled, featuring many of
the bands that appear on the compilation. The concert was held August 21, 1999, from
2:00 to 12:00 at the Academy Theatre, Meadville, PA.
