The Web Corner sponsors two mailing lists. Descriptions and directions for subscribing are below.
Responsive Teachers Mailing List: This list is for all persons interested in the Responsive Classroom approach. Teachers and other interested people subscribe in order to share ideas and strategies and to problem solve together.
Directions to subscribe to the Responsive-L list:
- Send an email message to this address, RESPONSIVE-L-SUBSCRIBE-REQUEST@netpals.lsoft.com
- =Leave the subject field blank.
- In the body of your message, type (without quotation marks) "SUBscribe RESPONSIVE-L your name" (Type your name--not the words "your name")
- Click the "Send" button
- You will receive an email message entitled "Command Confirmation Request" back. Check your email shortly after sending your first message. This confiirmation will ask you to reply with an "ok" (without the quotation marks). To do this:
- Open the "Command Confirmation Request" email message.
- Click the "Reply" button.
- Move your cursor to the body above the original message and type "ok" (without the quotation marks).
- Click "Send"
Check your email again. You will now receive a message from the list confirming your subscription and containing directions for sending messages to the group, unsubscribing from the group, etc. PRINT and file this message somewhere safe. You will need it when you wish to withdraw from the list.
Web Corner Mailing List: This list will keep you in touch with what is new and updated on the "Early Childhood Educators' and Family Web Corner." The webmaster uses this list to notify site visitors of events, new calendars, chat sessions, new articles etc.
Directions to subcribe to the WEBCORNER-L list:
- Send an email message to this address, WEBCORNER-L-SUBSCRIBE-REQUEST@netpals.lsoft.com
- Leave the subject field blank.
- In the body of your message, type (without quotation marks) "SUBscribe WEBCORNER-L your name" (Type your name--not the words "your name")
- Click the "Send" button

When you are ready to send mail to either of these lists, you will use a different address! Use the list name (WEBCORNER-L or RESPONSIVE-L) with this address @NETPALS.LSOFT.COM. For example, if I wished to send a message to the Responsive Teachers list, I would address my email message to RESPONSIVE-L@NETPALS.LSOFT.COM. This is the address you will use every time you send mail to the list. Record it in your address book where you won't forget it. Enjoy the lists!
