1-27-99: "Andrew was born in Knocnafaugher but his father purchased the
tenancy of a farm for him on another part of the Stewart of Ards estate,
in Derryart. This would be in the late 1830's or early 1840's. He died
at the age of forty-two . . . The
twins Jamie and John were only nine years old at the time."

1-27-99: "Andrew was born in Knocnafaugher but his father purchased the
tenancy of a farm for him on another part of the Stewart of Ards estate,
in Derryart. This would be in the late 1830's or early 1840's. He died
at the age of forty-two . . . William MacIntyre, their uncle, having grown
old surrendered the farm at Knocnafaugher to the landlord and was given
some compensation. He went to live with his sister Peggy. The farm was
now vacant and by some change of heart the landlord
gave the tenancy to Jamie and John. John died while still young and
only Jamie was left."
