The last will and testament of John Quayle of the parish of KK Michael
who being now in his declining years and weak in body but of a disposing
mind memory and understanding do make this my last will and testament
in form and manner following:
First I commit my soul to God and body to Christian burial.
I leave and bequeath to my eldest son William
Quayle
the sum of thirteen
pounds to be paid out of consideration money granted by Phillip
Mylecharane to the testator for a settlement of certain premises of
lands but if my afforesaid son William
Quayle
shall enter any law suit
touching the afforesaid against premises then and in that case I appoint
the afforesaid legacy to be reduced to four shilling.
I leave and bequeath to my daughter Margaret
Cannell
a large chest with
an iron loop at both ends.
I leave and bequeath to my son Charles
Quayle
a cheese prest.
I leave and bequeath to my daughter Judy
Mughtin
the sum of five pounds
to be paid out of the afforesaid consideration granted by Phillip
Mylecharane.
I leave and bequeath to my son John Quayle
the sum of five shillings.
I leave and bequeath to my grandaughter Margaret Shimmin the sum of
three pounds three shillings British.

pounds to be paid out of the consideration in his own hands.
