the memory of Elizabeth Quiggin (Charles) who died in the faith and

of the Gospel on the 19th of May 1841 aged 37 years in memory of Emma

I William Charles Quiggin of the
town of Douglas, Merchant, do hereby
make publish and declare this paper writing at and for my last will
and
testament hereby revoking all former wills by me at any time heretofor
made. I give devise and bequeath unto my wife Emma
Jane Quiggin and her
heirs and assigns the whole of my real and personal estate and effects
of
what kind an nature soever and whereso said the same may be situated
for
her and sole and absolute use and benefit and I direct that my interest
and share in the partnership estate of William and Robert Quiggin should
remain in the said form in order that my brother Robert Quiggin may
carry
on the same as heretofore he accounting to my said wife for and half
of
the profits of the said partneship estate until it is confenient for
himn
to pay out my share of the capitol employed therein to my said wife.
I leave and bequeath unto each of my children the sum of five shillins
as
a legacy and I nominate and appoint my said wife Emma
Jane Quiggin sole
executrix hereof and residuary legatee as witness my name this 11 March
1857. William Charles Quiggin my

Signed and declared by the said testator in presence who in his presence
and in the presence of each other have hereunto subscribed our names
as
witnesses hereto Thomas H. Oxley and James Kenna. Pledges were Robert
Quiggin and Edward Todd Quiggin.
