We have developed a mechanism for raising and lowering the monitor and keyboard shelves of a desk with the use of a small hand crank. The range of the adjustment is 8" and can easily be adjusted even by a child. Pictured here, it has been incorporated into a mini-desk, perfect for small spaces. Its dimensions are 31"W x 22"D.

This adjustable feature is ideal where:

  • home computers are used alternately by children and adults.
  • the same business computer is used by more than one operator.
  • keyboard height requirements keep changing for growing children.
  • classroom computers are used by differing student ages and heights.
As with all WoodStyle products, you can customize this desk to your needs, altering dimensions, wood stain, and styling. A pedestal containing drawers or shelves can be added to either side or a hutch included over the monitor.
