Orlando Area Attractions
The Hotel
We will be staying in the newly-renovated Las Palmas Hotel; site of the
very FIRST ADAM convention, held 10 years ago this October.
The hotel is located on International Drive, conveniently midway between
the Orlando International Airport and Walt Disney World. Check your
Orlando map
and look for the intersections of US 4 (400) and Sand Lake Rd (482). It
is located in the southwest corner of
Orlando proper.
Nearby Attractions
There are numerous restaurants and shopping opportunities nearby........and I
hesitate to say this.....but, there is also a WET & WILD water park
located DIRECTLY across the street from the hotel, although the hotel
does have it's own very nice pool.

Can you say Walt Disney World?

Check with your local travel agents on air fares. We
(Bob & Judy Slopsema, that is)
booked flights direct from Detroit to Orlando, round trip - 7 day, for
$150 each passenger. Cheap fares are out there for charter flights if
you can go major city to major city.
Even if you don't wish to participate in the convention, there's something
for everybody to do!
