We painstakingly spent many hours designing our home. I couldn't count the late nights we spent drawing, discussing, redrawing, discussing... Don even taught himself AutoCAD to do our drawings. We started from a bubble diagram and worked our way through greater levels of detail from there. We were pretty far along before we selected our builder and worked with him to refine the design.
