Benjamin & Medwin

Benjamin and Medwin came out with a series of ceramic Doughboy and Sprout items in 1988. The Doughboy cookie jar is probably the signature item. It is approximately 12" height. These are still available in some stores (Lechter's), mail order catalogs and also directly from Pillsbury.

Also available from the 1988 Doughboy series is a napkin holder, tool holder, spoon rest, bank, scouring pad holder, pump soap dispenser. Some items exist with both Poppin' and Poppie. These include a salt and pepper set, individual towel holders, magnets and soap dishes.

Funfetti Series

Another series from Benjamin & Medwin is the Funfetti series. These items have Poppin' Fresh standing next to a cupcake with pink icing and sprinkles. These collectibles included a cookie jar, salt and pepper, napkin holder, tool holder, spoon rest and magnets.

Green Giant Sprout

Benjamin & Medwin also made a line of Sprout. These included a cookie jar, salt and pepper shakers, tool holder, scrubber set, scouring pad holder, napkin holder, spoon rest and magnet.

1997 Hand Up Series

In 1997, Benjamin and Medwin came out with a new line of "Hand Up" items. The Doughboy is shaped a bit different than the older series and has one hand up in the air. The items available that I know of are: a cookie jar, salt and pepper shakers, spoon rest, tool holder, pump soap dispenser, scouring pad holder, bank, teapot and napkin holder.
