STORE DISPLAYS
I'm sure you're surprised as I am when you walk into your favorite grocery store and see a new advertising display. I thought I would share a few newer displays, as well as some of my favorites!
Two different recipe card holders have been used in the refrigerated section. These hold the index card sized recipes for Pillsbury products. The first holder is blue plastic with a white Doughboy on the left side with the words "Quick Recipes" written beside him. The second holder is red, white and blue plastic and has the words "Hot & Fresh Recipes in Minutes". This Doughboy has both hands in the air with a spoon in one hand.
Another item used in the refrigerated section is a plastic Doughboy holding a flag advertising Pillsbury cookie dough. It connects to the shelves in a way so the Doughboy sticks out and waves to you. What a cute idea!

Pillsbury recently came out with muffin mixes in the paper envelopes. As these do not stand up on store shelves like their boxed mixes, they have plastic holders for the mixes. The holder sits on the shelf and has a spring so when an envelope is taken out, the next envelope is pushed to the front of the shelf.

How would you like to walk into your local grocery store and see a four and a half foot styrofoam Doughboy or a two foot high foil Green Giant standing in the aisle?! I'm not sure when and why they used these displays, but they sure are cool!
