Wacky Packages are advertising parody stickers that became popular in the mid '70s. They were produced by Topps in the U.S. and O-Pee-Chee in Canada. The stickers were sold in packages similar to baseball cards. Kids would stick these anyhwere; books, lockers, schoolbags, etc. - We still have a few on an old steel cupboard in our basement.
Included in the '67 set was the Green Giant/Jolly Mean Giant Wacky Package die-cut card. Unlike a regular sticker, the die-cut cards had paste on the back and would stick by wetting the backs.
Jolly Mean Giant and was #43 in the series of 44. Within this series, there were a number of miscuts. A miscut is when the wrong number was placed on the adjacent card. So don't be alarmed if you find the Jolly Mean Giant with #21 instead of #43.
Other Pillsbury related stickers include Hungry Jerk, Old El Gaso, Progreaso Raw Clammy Sauce and Promesso Pizza Sauce.
