Space Exploration

Space Exploration

NASA
The National Aeronautics and Space Administration.
The United States agency that put the first man on the moon with Apollo 11. Neil Armstrong was the first to set foot on the moon, and Buzz Aldrin the second. Isn't it time to return?

The Russian Space Program
Even after the disintrigration of the Soviet Union, the Russian space program is alive and well. If anyone knows of any links of any Proton or Soyuz launches, please mail me the URL. The Russians even have their own space shuttle, the Buran. Hopefully, NASA and the RKA (Russian Space Angncy) will continue to work together so that our knowlege of the heavens continues to grow. (Picture is of a Soyuz liftoff)

The European Space Agency
The workhorse of the European Space program is the Ariane rocket. The Ariane 5 is the next model to be released. The Arian 5 is the rightmost in the GIF.
