I did this so friends will stop bugging me about not having a home page.
As you can see, I have some work left to do. But what the heck, it's a start!

Here are a couple pics of my friend Peeper, who's now in birdy heaven: playing with her "friend", and getting into mischief. She was a wonderful little companion and will remain in my heart forever.
And these are the long-promised pics of Raleigh, my male English budgie, here at about 18 months old, hanging out on his rope swing, more of a profile shot on the rope, and here on his playpen between rounds with the bell.
One of my passions is in-line skating. Although I can't enjoy it today as much as in the past, I have some wonderful memories. I'd been ice skating for decades when I discovered the in-line world. Not long after I started, I began to hum, and skate to, the rhythm of a certain song from "The Wizard of Oz". With new lyrics, it became my personal "blader's anthem". Word of this filtered through the grapevine and look what happened to me! Click here to read a short reminiscence.
Here's more about me. I'm 49 years old, unmarried, a non-smoker and have a Bachelor of Science degree. Music is such a big part of my life that I can't imagine a day without it. My tastes range from The Beach Boys to Mozart. Some of my favorite places are Fish Point on Pelee Island, Kill Devil Hills, Edgewater Park, Seneca Rock and Tobermory. I'm awed by things like the full moon setting into Lake Erie, the heart, soul and genius of Brian Wilson, a kite waltzing in a light breeze, the wisdom of Pearl Buck and beautiful, playful women. Heard enough? :P
I'll be adding links and other interesting tidbits. So stop by from time to time.
A little while ago, I sent a morning email to a friend, about a Peregrine falcon, and she suggested I'd actually written a poem! So I reformatted it, and present it here for your viewing pleasure.
And here's a rafting story I call Midnight Excursion, also developed from an email I'd written.
Oh! I almost forgot! Click here to see a pic of Pamela Anderson giving me a smooch!
And another one. It's a fird! It's a bish! You decide! Soon you'll be able to click here to have a look.
Before you leave, take a look at this view overlooking Lake Erie. Panoramas like this are a continual source of awe and inspiration throughout the year.
Happy New Millennium! ! ! ! !
