Mead Park , which offers fifty acres of woodlands, picnic
areas, and athletic fields, provides something for everyone,
be it a quiet stroll through the woods or an active game of
tennis. Mead Park is located in the northwest portion of
the city.

The old merry go round that has been a part of the park
for many years, one of the many things for the kids.

Another play thing for the kids

And more things for the kid to play on, there are many
slides and swings through the park.

The Stennett Pavilion, the newest of the many covered
picnic areas through out the park.

The horse shoe pits just waiting for you.

There are also Basket ball courts at the park.

The Girl Scout Lodge, a inclosed picnic area with a
fireplace and tables and running water.

Memory Lane

A monument honoring Veterans located at the end of
Memory Lane and at the start of Mary's Lane.

The McClean Pavilion area with a playground for kids.

The Amphitheater were many outdoor events are held, One
event that is held annually is the Memorial Day Celebration.

The Wildwood Pavilion

Mead Park has a couple of Tennis Courts.

This Tennis court has lights for night playing.
