	Checking weather at Cape Hatteras Before heading off on your long weekend or vacation to Hatteras you might want to check out the wind conditions. I always use the Weather Channel internet site. It gives the current winds and provides surface maps to help forcast what wind will appear in the days ahead. This camera is only turned when it's windy. Link to Cam Site Accommodations You'll find plenty of motels, hotels, and rentals available and at half cost if you go there in the early spring (March,April,May)or late fall (October, November).This is considered the off season for most merchants and motel / hotel industries, but not for windsurfing retailers and rental shops.
