The inhabitants of Eurekala, under the leadership of the quirky Dr. Bulb, are thrown into a frantic race to prevent the destruction of the worlds as they are known.

To achieve his plan, Jinx kidnaps Nicholas and Darrence, two normal school kids who become the first humans to visit the dimension of Eurekala. By mixing the realities, Jinx hopes to open a gateway between the worlds, but his plans are cut short when Dr. Bulb helps the boys escape. After becoming lost in Eurekala, Nicholas and Darrence must somehow find a way to defeat Jinx, and along the way encounter walking cabbages, three-story tall tanks, a spirited band of roving pirate creatures, walking nightmares and more
