There are a lot of useful answers in bonsai related faq's, this is simply my meager addition of help(s). Most of the information will be pointed toward growing in the ground and propagation of cuttings (Neering frame) or other ways. AND: please keep two things in mind, 1) if you ask three growers the same question you'll get three answers that are all different (but almost the same). Not everything works the same for everyone, every time. 2) I live and grow in western Pennsylvania, USA, Zone 4 or 5 depending on the severity of the weather. Temper the use of my advice accordingly and happy growing!

I am also a frequent visitor to the Gardenweb bonsai forum and answer questions in there, mostly on Saturday and Sunday mornings when I should be doing something else (like sleeping).

Almost all of the help (answers) that I give freely, have been learned the hard way (by killing a tree to learn more). I still don't know everything about plant biology, your questions are most welcome, I will try (with Tim's help) to keep the page(s) updated as often as possible. If we fall short in this area it'll be because we just couldn't keep up. In this vein, I will ask your forgiveness in advance but we will try!
