Straw needs us

Darryl Strawberry is a human being, let that be said for those who cannot understand that.  Unfortunately for Darryl, he is a drug addict.  For anyone that doesn't know what that means, it means that Darryl suffers from a mental, and chemical dependence on using drugs.  If he didn't care, if he didn't want to quit, he would not have spent 4 years sober after getting a second chance.  He would not have checked himself into rehab, he would not pray to God every night that he beats his addiction.  Now our hero has openly admitted that he wants to die, he once again is battling cancer, and because of what his life has been and all the bad things he has done, he wants to end his life.  I urge you to send Darryl MANY letters at the Yankee Stadium address below (they will forward the letters to his home I assume), he needs to know that not just his children would miss him, his fans would too.  I have received many e-mails, most of them supportive, and of course a couple immature jerks with nothing better to do than look at web pages of people they hate.  I'll bet a few of you are addicted to smoking, or maybe are overweight.  Think of how hard it is for you to quit smoking, or lose weight.  Now imagine that times 1,000.  That's what Darryl is going through.  I know he has visited my page a couple times, and if he does now, we love you Straw, keep faith.
