February 2001
Bring your friends and your appetite to the spaghetti dinner being sponsored by the Central Band. It is Feb. 4, 2001 at Holy Rosary Gym, located at 28th and East Ave. Dinner will be served from 11:30AM until 4PM and will include salad, spaghetti, meatballs, Bread and butter, and a dessert. The cost of the dinner is $5 for adults, $3 for children 3-11 and children under 3 will be admitted free. Children's tickets will be available ONLY at the door. To ensure this event will be a success, it is imperative that ALL BAND FAMILIES become involved! We will need at the LEAST, 2 hours either on Saturday for setting up, or on Sunday for the dinner from all of our parents and their families. With your participation and cooperation, we can make this a GIANT success!!! To schedule your time for work, or if you need additional tickets or any questions, please call Alice Koziel at home after 5:30PM. At the dinner there will be several baskets filled with all kinds of things up for raffle. Bring the family and enjoy the fellowship of the Central Band members.
Another band banquet has come to past and what a wonderful time was had by all. It was fantastic to see all the parents who stayed and we would like to express our gratitude to them for helping out in the clean up after the dance. Thanks to Denise Gressley who chaired this event!!! I am sure all those who attended would agree that it was a great success! We would also like to thank Central Asst. Principals Mrs. Paula Strong and Mr. Pete Bukowski, Collegiate Academy Dean, Bob Oliver as well as School director Cas Kwitowski for their attendance and wonderful comments.

We are looking for more parents to get involved with the band. MANY committees are looking for new members. Because of the upcoming graduation of our seniors, it is imperative that NEW people step forward to take charge. Without new parents becoming involved, the band will not be the great program it now is. Please come to a meeting and see what it's all about! We need you now more than ever!
