July 4, 2001In a desperate attempt to bring some life to this site, I'm announcing a nifty little project. It's time for the first ever Thread aPa~! Themed Submission Week! I just thought it would be pretty swank if we opened up the site here to different styles of writing that all center around a specific theme. Because this came to me while I was driving to my apartment one day, our first theme will be "driving". Humor, fiction, deep introspection, pondering the universe in relation to I-79 South, it's ALL fair game. As an added bonus, your notoriously lazy webmaster will even be contributing!
Try and have your submissions sent to that lazy bastard Ska-boom by Saturday, July 14. With any luck, I'll have them posted by the following Monday. This isn't a "contest" because I won't be ranking or judging these submissions. It's also not a contest because I can't afford to give any of you money for writing, you miserable leeches.
So try and find that shortcut to Word that you replaced those many months ago with "naked Tetris" and show your chatting compatriots your deep, sensitive, artistic soul. Chicks dig it.
