Hooray for us, we have a house now! Well, not yet, we're still waiting for
financing, but that should come through. It's a standard 3 bedroom, 2.5 bath
colonial with a full basement and a monstrous yard. Here's a few pictures. Now,
obviously, all the furniture in these pictures belong to the previous owners, so
no, we don't have that much nice stuff. But it'll come.
The Basement
We've got a finished basement with laundry facilities, a wet bar, and a full bathroom.
- The basement -
The basement is finished with a wacky wallpaper and linoleum flooring. It needs help,
as it's pretty ugly.
- The bar - It has
a small sink behind the nice wood bar. Looks like a good place to make a couple of
daquiris.
- The bathroom -
Just a standard shower, sink and toilet. Not much of interest here.
- The laundry room -
This area is nicely finished with ceramic tile and a drop ceiling.
The First Floor
Living room, family room, dining room, kitchen, and a half bathroom.
- The living room -
A nice formal living room off the foyer. I don't see us using this much to start,
especially since we've no furniture to go there! It will make a good place for my
LEGO train, however.
- The dining room -
The living room, kitchen, and family room all meet in the dining room. Not much else
to say.
- The kitchen -
An okay sized eat in kitchen. There's enough cabinet space to be funcitonal.
- The half bath -
A little half bath off the back door. When you gotta go, you gotta go...
- The family room -
The coolest room in the house. It's very big, and with a wall of windows on one side
and a fireplace at the end. It will be the focal point of the house.
The Second Floor
We have three bedrooms and a full bathroom upstairs.
