Girl Scouts of Black Diamond Council provides an accepting, challenging and exciting environment that attracts, enables and inspires all girls to develop the character, determination and skills needed to become caring, confident and resourceful women. The program's emphases are:

2. Developing self-potential
3. Relating to others
4. Contributing to society

More than 1200 girls and adults are served in the United Way coverage area. Activities are offered at five age levels: Daisy Girl Scouts, age 5; Brownie Girl Scouts, ages 6-8; Junior Girl Scouts, ages 8-11; Cadette Girl Scouts, ages 11-14; and Senior Girl Scouts, ages 14-17.
