In 1988, the Leaders Club was formed to encourage and recognize leadership giving to the United Way of the Virginias' fund raising campaign.  The Leaders Club was created to identify and provide a leadership giving opportunity to those individuals who are in a position to make a United Way contribution of $500 or more.  The Leaders Club establishes a goal through club memberships and then provides members with special recognition for their generosity.

When you give through the United Way of the Virginias, you're contribution will be used right here in our community to help people who really need help. It will strengthen families, promote self-sufficiency, improve health and help people with disabilities. Experienced volunteers, who are knowledgeable of local needs, will monitor agencies and help make sure your money is well spent among our 26 human service agencies.
